It seems that Jesus will teach me in phases if you will. When I will complete one is unknown to me. Yet it seems like the new lesson will just drop in one day and then that is what He will show me for some time.
Many times this phrase will come when I first drop in to His secret place. For example, Jesus has been telling me recently, “Walk in my ways and I will show you the path.”
Now that I have decided that I need to change my career the word “path” seems to say more. Thus “career path”
What a comfort it is that Jesus is ready to walk along with me on my new path!
So I am looking into the other part, “walk in my ways…” What does this mean? The following example is how I ask and then hear from Jesus.
Jesus, how do I walk in your ways?
Walk as I walk, do as I do. What was I known for?
Yes, it is well know that I prayed much. What else?
You where left at the town Church, because you where listening to the sages?
I was. This town was far away from the people I had talked with up to that point. They had more insight into the things of God and I soaked up all I could. How can you do the same Chip?
Listen to teaching that I don’t normally listen to. You told me the other day to go back to some of my old ways of reading scripture and confessions
This is good Chip. Now as you do this with focus you will have peace along the way to your new income path. Stop the noise and focus on my Word, so you will have Peace along the way.
I will do this Jesus! Thank you!
That is the real thing! I love to hear from Jesus. The above is why I don’t agree with anyone that says you cannot hear specific direction from God.
All the best!
